The board does not fix a separate number of questions for each subject at the Graduate level. Past papers show that Rajasthan GK (history, art and culture, geography, polity and economy) carries the largest share.

OMR fifth option (E) rule: every question has five circles — A, B, C, D and E. If you do not want to answer a question, darkening circle E is compulsory. If no circle is darkened, 1/3 of the marks of that question is deducted, and a candidate who leaves more than 10% of the questions with no circle darkened is disqualified. Marking E carries no penalty.

Rajasthan CET Graduate 2026 Preparation Tips

  • Know the wider syllabus: the Indian National Movement, Indian Economy and Science & Technology are tested in more depth than at the 12th level.
  • Make a realistic study plan: fix a daily slot for every subject and keep one day a week for revision.
  • Focus on Rajasthan GK: history, geography, art & culture and polity of Rajasthan carry the most weight.
  • Solve previous year papers to understand the level and the repeating topics.
  • Take full-length mock tests: practise 150 questions in 3 hours with negative marking.
  • Revise current affairs daily, especially Rajasthan schemes and events.
  • Be accurate: with 1/3 negative marking, avoid blind guesses — darken E instead.
